Be a part of Dam to Dam – Iowa’s Distance Classic without running a step!

Volunteers are needed for:

PACKET PICK UP Friday, June 1
Location: Veteran’s Memorial Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center
Description: Assist runners picking up their race number bib, t-shirt and pre-race instructions.

RACE DAY Saturday, June 2 – Finish Line or Finish Area
Location: 3rd & Locust, Downtown Des Moines Description: Cheer and assist runners at finish line, hand out finisher medals, water, sports drink, food, runner’s bags, post-race information.

RACE DAY Saturday, June 2 – Course Monitor or Water Station on Race Route
Location: Varied along long race course
Description: Water Stations – Assist with water station set up, clean up, cheer runners while filling and handing out cups of water or sports drink.
Description: Course Monitor – Offer runner support and directions as needed.

All volunteers receive a free T-shirt and are invited to a Volunteer Post-Race Party to be held from 10:45am to 12:00pm on race day at Cowles Commons.
